TABC FRONT AXLE

Post by DAVID DARRELL » Sun Feb 17, 2002 2:44 pm

Hi is anybody interested in new front axle beams all machined and ready to fit. Approx cost 350 excluding taxes and carriage. If enough people are interested then the price could be lower. Stub axles in modern steel are next price approx 150 BRITISH POUNDS but the company must know approx how many are required. They are also interested in making other cast steel components such as brake and clutch pedals and the petrol tank strap fixings (normally in cast iron which breaks) but will only do so if there are enough people interested to spread the cost of the patterns etc. email them at mgta@morrisgarages.co.uk with your interests

Hi David, I might be interested and notified MorrisGarages. Thank you. To the group I have a question on this subject. If an axle were reproduced would it be advantageous to request less or zero positive camber? I'd be interested in a thread on this subject, especially proposed specs for standard tires and wheels, and modern road conditions. Cheers, Peter
