Hi All,
Just wondering if any of the UK listers are going to attend the
Rebuild ,02 organised by the MGCC T Register on March 10 I will attend as
there is always some extra knowledge to be gleaned. Probably wont be in the
TB though as its a bit too far and it usually rains.
Regards,
Ron Benson.
PS Might take the TB out tomorrow if it stays dry Heartbeat country
possibly.

Re: Digest Number 736 T Register Rebuild ,02
Ron,
I'm organising the MGCC T-Register's 22nd Rebuild and I'm hoping that we get a significant number of fellow UK listers attending on March 10th in St. Neots. Enrolment details are in the February issues of "Safety Fast" and the Octagon Car Club Bulletin.
Confirmed topics and speakers are:
TA/B/C beam axle steering - Steve Baker
Sidescreen recovering and upholstery - Bryan Purves
Wiring and electrics - Barrie Jones
TD/TF front suspension and 5-speed conversions (!?) - Andy King
30 years experience of running a TF - Bruce Morgan
Plus (I hope)a session on performance enhancement.
Anybody needing more details, please e-mail me off list,
John Steedman, TC 0301

Re: Digest Number 736 T Register Rebuild ,02
Hi Ron
I am hoping to attend the rebuild seminar on the 10th. Was interested to see
that Steve Baker is giving one of the talks, he rebuilt my TC in 1990 and
entered it in the Monte Carlo challenge in 1991. so I will be pleased to
meet him.
Regards
Paul

Re: Digest Number 736 T Register Rebuild ,02
Hi again all, WRT the rebuild seminar at ernulf I believe that someone is doing a demo of sidescreen covering. If anyone is going it would be a good time to raise the question of the different types of fitting that we have been discussing. I probably won't be going but I would be interested to hear if anything comes out of this.
