Not for nothing but in England you see Mini's towing small housetrailers so I guess a T series could tow, I met a fellow years ago who was using a single wheel trailer (yes they made them) and he had a blow out on it and it caused the car to flip over. But if you were towing this opens up the brake discussions again, as well as the steering can-O-worms Joe

Hi Paul, hi T-Typers! Yes,it works well. We use a fold down caravan (Scholz Br derchen). Like made for the TC: Not higher as the persenning (free sight to the rear), featherlight (240kg) and enough room for the luggage. Allowed loading is 160kg. We use it at every meeting and have much fun. It s always a big show, when we arrive at the meetings! For further informations about such caravans look at www.coc-ev.de , the german caravan oldie club. btw.: Drawnings of the trailer coupling and picts of the caravan with TC are available. Give me a note, if interested.

Ray the idea is this, whatever does not go in the rear goes in the passenger footwell. It`s surprising how much this little gem cuts down the amount women take with them. Steve TC4219

Hi out there,
Following the enquiry about tools for a TC. If anyone has a full set they can confirm how heavy it is. I also took out my sidescreens to check the fixing method and they also weigh quite a bit, so my suggestion is if you are towing something leave these weighty bits behind and I'm sure this will be worth a few of the tired old horses.

Luggage racks are for sissys. Useful for parading around with a wicker picnic hamper strapped on for "show" but that's about it. Alvis here not MG but the concept is the same. With soft luggage and enough bungies, you can pack tent, camp cooking supplies, food, clothing and extra boots. Plus, the weight distribution on the car is much better. This is in the parking lot at LL Bean, Down East up in Maine "several" years ago. http://members.aol.com/fyle02/1luggage.jpg Badger's better ideas.

Good for you, Badger! The photo reminds me of photos of my mother's family's 1925 move from Virginia Beach to San Francisco in a Model T Ford. With tents, luggage, portable kitchen, odd bits of furniture strapped on, you couldn't see much of the car. -- Chip Old 1948 M.G.
