Charles: how were able to get a list of MG from your state? I would like to
get one for Iowa also Florida. I have been wanting to find the past owner of
my TC that I bought in Florida from a dealer and he bought it from an
auction.
Thanks

Best thing to do to start is contact the New England T registry to see if
your car shows up in their records.

Rolland,
All I was able to obtain was a listing of MG TCs then currently titled
in the state. Back then, it was fairly easy. I'm not sure it can even
be done today. Access to DMV records have been much more restricted due
to increased concerns for privacy. Anyway, nothing to help trace the
previous owners of a particular car.

I have been with USAA for over 50 years and like their service extremely well.
I have my son now using them also. One memorable time was when I was hurrying
around doing last minute errands , car was loaded with trip luggage, I was
late; and driving along a freeway. Bang!!!! I get a Wheel Lug Nut thrown
through my windshield by a State Highway owned grass mower. i stopped and got
license info. I called USAA. They said , don't worry, there is a glass dealer
two blocks from your home. He will be waiting... He was! He was standing in
front of his shop holding a rubber blanket to cover my hood('Bonnet' to you
Britishers). I was out of there with a new windshield within 20 minutes.
Paperwork and all. THAT IS SERVICE WITH A SMILE............. My wife didn't
even know I was delayed.
