Hi Mark Take the tap apart, clean the tapered part of the valve, inner and outer, if you can get some valve grease, smear it on the tapered part and put back together, if you can not get valve grease, Teflon pipe dope will work, you need to rotate the valve a few time to spread the grease around. [b]Subject:[/b] [mg-tabc] Leaking Water Drain Tap I installed a Moss Motors in block Water Drain tap (#434-240). It leaks at the bottom of the shaft that is turned to open or close the tap. While the leak appears to be minor, it is enough to kept the engine block right below the tap damp. Does anyone have a fix? Mark Stolzenburg
