Try Fidler's Polishing and Plating, Pine Grove, Pa. 570 345 4649 ( but
not during deer hunting season about to break!).
Tell him I sent you

Re: Radiator shells
Terry,
My personal experience is yes - "They are good"! They have replated nearly
all the chrome on my TC and every piece is perfect. They took out many
dings and warps in my headlight buckets and grill shell. They copper plate
as many multiple times as necessary to build up the surface untill it is
possible to polish it out perfectly. Then they follow with the nickle and
finally the chrome plating. I also had my headlight reflectors resilvered
with the same great results.
Regards,
Bob Kampas

radiator shells
We had occasion to repair a TF radiator shell in 1989
There were none in the world to buy and we suffered a severe crumple of the front end (some restorer had not replaced the strap iron bar which belongs behind the chrome bumper)
We were referred by an Allstate appraiser to:
Pauls Chrome Plating
198 Mars-Valencia Rd.
Mars, Pennsylvania 16046
1800-245-8679
in PA 412-625-3165
They were in business as of MG 2000 (June 2000) I had a gift certificate from them through ENMGR. The cost was $800 then but the work done was exceeding fine.

Your Correct Red Barron. Nu Chrome in Fall River, Mass do incredible work
and will rebuild rusted out parts to new condition. The Quality is there and
the price is fair because every thing comes out brand new. _ believe they
advertise in Hemmings. Tally Ho! Thom Collins

Re: Radiator shells
Hi Ray,
Jon Wright at Custom Chrome Plating has done miracles with my radiator shell.
When he got it, two other shops had buffed holes in it, and the sides were
wavy and heat stressed. He made it look like new, with new studs etc. 20
plus years ago he chromed the Tickford headlamp shells, 6 months ago I got
around to looking at them and noticed a very small blemish on the bottom of
one. I mentioned it to him, he said send them back and he would check them
out, they came back 5 days later completely redone, his compliments. He has
done hundreds of parts for me, all perfect, no streaks, show quality, etc. so
I guess I am spoiled. Like Craig, it will take a little time to get them
back, but it takes time to do it right and the perfection is worth it. The
usual disclaimers etc.
Address is :
