TC shock rebuild

Octalisters I was not smart enough to capture the thread when it went by. Can someone direct me to a cookbook recipe to rebuild them? And, where to locate the parts? thanks in advance sherwood

Sherwood, There are two documents in the Technology section of the T-ABC list, that address damper rebuilds. One document is written by Terrance J. VanParys, and the other by myself. Locating parts is addressed in these. The circlips can be obtained (perhaps) from another source I can mention. Depends on what you find when you open them up. I recently dropped mine at Five Points in santa Ana Ca.to be rebuilt. In talking to them it was clear the job was not possible without some Specialized equipt. Steve Keiser
