Handbrake Cables
I am about to order new cables. Moss states on their web site that their
cables are the "complete assembly" and they are considerably more
expensive than cables offered by other suppliers. Does anyone have any
experience with the Moss version or advce on what to ask when ordering.
Thanks Terry(TC8202(

Handbrake cables
Does anyone have a picture of the route of the handbrake cable.
Problem is the brass trunnion which has the pipe for the grease nipple seems to be the wrong way round. The flat side which appears to bolt the the hole in the bracket of the front rear spring hanger is not the flange side.
I've tries feeding it through the hanger bracket so the flat side is on the inside of the bracket but the cable is then to far back.
Thanks

Re: Handbrake cables
Roger, As far as I can see they are the same. Moss only have one part number so It looks like they are. I have another problem now. It would appear the handbrake expander is holding the shoes too far apart as I can't get the drum on and the shoe is about a centimetre away from the wheel cylinder piston. I'm totally knackered struggling with the rear shoes. I'm about where I was at 0930 this morning and have had to stop before I fall over. I'll ask the question about the rear shoes on another thread. Oh, what fun .. Re: Handbrake cables
Mark, Great help. I had it like that but thought there was too much cable on the brake side and not enough on the handbrake lever side. Guess I'll be taking it all apart again in the morning, Many thanks.
