article on coil springs
dear friends,
i tried to get the permission from r. knudson to publish the article "coil
return springs" by bob watts
from TSO 2/97, but unfortunately he refused my request. today i got the
answer.
so anybody who like to get that knowledge has to look for a copy of TSO or
become a member of
the north american MG club.
best regards
walter

Which is it - hiding someone else's light under a bushel or acting like a
dog in the manger? I think copyright prescribes after some 50 years so I
suggest we just hang in here, waiting with baited breath in the hope that
our grandchildren derive some benefit from the knowledge contained in the
article. And what the hell, my TC 8675 waited some 51 years before getting
into my hands so perhaps the article can be its early centenary birthday
present in 2047!

Re: article on coil springs
I've heard before that Knudson always refuses permission to reprint
no matter how trivial the work.
Perhaps not a REAL MG man who'd stop beside the road and lend a
hand !

Dick Knudson has done more for MG's and the people that own them than anyone
in the USA! He must have a reason for abiding to copyright laws. I'd ask him
before making that statement. Bob TC4956
