I recently purchased from Abingdon Spares an older Coil which I was told was "period". The coil has the word "Remax" in a small white and green crest on the front. On the base are stamped Made in England, 12v and Y4 . Can anyone tell me anything about this? Would Y4 be a date code or possibly a model number? I am figuring that Remax is a company which made (or maybe still does) replacement components for british vehicles?
Thanks,

Tammy,
I definitely remember Remax light bulbs back in the 50s & 60s. Think I've still got one or two somewhere. Didn't know that they went in for more adventurous stuff though!
