Fwd: WTC
Hi Group,
I parked my car inside a garage yesterday. When I exited, everyone on the
street was looking at the WTC. The first plane had hit. People were crowding
the streets and watching. Everyone was thinking it was a terrible terrerist
attack. After a few minutes the smoke and fire began to lessen and we thought
that the fire was being controled by sprinkler systems. I decided to go to my
building. Just as I crossed a street in
front of my office building, the second plane hit. It was unbelieveable and
looked much worse than the first hit. I went up to the office (about 1/2 mile
north of WTC) to make sure the people knew what had just happenened. They not
only knew, but some had watched from the windows when the second plane hit.

with no problems. Crowds of people now were in the street watching the WTC. I
thought that the best thing to do was get out of Manhattan and take a car
full of people with me. It took about ten minutes to get to the car. By this
time, word was comming over that the bridges were being closed. We made it to
and were on the Williamsburg Bridge just as the first building collapsed.
Then a few minutes later the second collapse came.

it's like I'm
