choke return springs

Post by Sally Carroll » Tue Aug 28, 2001 7:24 pm

OOPS Guys the article refers to everything BUT the choke return spring. . .See what I mean. An Index would be great. I have the mags and I can read and interpret drawings. I was a parts manager for *** years. We have a "helper" currently on our TF but it is in fact too stiff. . . when it gets cold we will have a starting problem as the choke is VERY tight just now. . . Are we referring to the AUC 4667 choke return spring used on all T series carbs? If so I make them to the proper spec, as for using auxiliary helper springs these should not be needed as long as correct spring is used and as long as the jet and jet bearings are in proper alignment not corroded etc. I may be contacted off list regarding these springs.
