5 Speed gearbox?
Hi,
Has anybody out there been successful in fitting a 5 speed gearbox to their TB/TC?

Re: 5 Speed gearbox?
I understand Kenworth makes an 18 speed, with 2 speed rear end. As long as we are going to add additional gears, why not go all the way ? Hmmmmm? PTH

The easiest way is to jack up the radiator cap and drive a BMW
underneath. Better heater too!

5 Speed Gearbox?
Fred,
You changed your gearbox to a 5 speed in the last month? Have we collectively talked about that? (I only vaguely remember the subject matter but I don't remember any of the particulars.) What did you install? How much trouble/modification was involved? Did you replace the rear end as well? How does it work?

Re: 5 Speed Gearbox?
Have a look at Andy King's website which I posted yesterday - he has
done 5 speed conversions for TCs and sells a kit for about 700
