Does Anyone "Yahoo?"

Sorry to trouble the list, but I have a computer-type question. Another move from Uncle Sam has brought us to Robins Air Force Base, GA and a new e-mail address (after 5 months without a home computer and TC 3452 still in storage). Problem is, I would like to use my old e-mail log-on and password (getting harder to remember new stuff as each year passes) and the system won't let me as it says it is already taken (by me at my old e-mail address). Have tried the Yahoo prompts and tried using my new e-mail address as a Yahoo "Additional e-mail address", but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. All I can say is good luck. I forgot my yahoo ID and I need it to make some changes in my profile. I contacted yahoo and have been trying to get a positive response from them for the past 2 months. I have yet to get anything but a computer response to my numerous emails, none of which even closely relate to the questions I asked. I don't want to go to the extreme of stopping my subscription to the list(s) and signing on again. Is there any other solution? All I want to do is be able to respond to the list from work, but Yahoo doesn't recognize @att.net and @worldnet.att.net as the same address!! Regards, Charles Hill

The list works OK, provided you never have to change anything, like your email address, or your password, or need to access from more than one email address. Then its profanity time. I don't know if the sign on process yahole dreamed up is the product of arrogance, paranoia or sheer stupidity. It is certain that they haven't tried to use it themselves, else it would not be as it is. It's enough to drive one to distraction. The most aggravating thing of all is the hour of convolutions they put one through trying to find some way of contacting them for help. They could come right out and admit they have meticulously avoided providing any means to contact them. But then, we would not waste time surfing around their catacombs and labyrinths looking for a contact link while exposing ourselves to all of their offers to separate us from money. The whole thing could be solved at a stroke if they would publish a work around for these common problems. Better yet, fix it. Problem is that they make it a point not to communicate with the users so they probably haven't a clue that the system has these easily avoidable, and needless aggravations. The illogic is striking.
