Now Roger, as a matter of fact, I love England and I am already looking
forward to my annual September visit to the worlds largest theme park!
Of course for me, the most difficult thing about going to England is the
time change. I always have to remember to set my watch BACK 500 years.

I dont't feel offended in the slightest. ...............
If you can't take then don't dish it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Except....................That isn't it true, at least thats what everybody
keeps telling me that comes back from America what enormous meals are
provided over there, especially Ham and Eggs for breakfast. Probably
explains the high rate of obesity.
As for the rest I like our 'quaint' country.
Regards Roger Muir.
PS what are doing in September Badger??

But you forgot about us lefties (no,not politically)!Driving, as we do, from the left hand side of the car has nothing whatsoever to do with any inability to shift with the left hand but has much to do with the fact that we find it far easier to undo brassiere straps with our right hands whilst steering with our left. Dear Roger; Coming from Lexington "birth place of American freedom" The
Buckman Tavern still has the old Chalkboard for the tally of Pints and
Quarts. Some times the barkeep would would check off the wrong box- thus the
statement would come forth of: "Mind your P's and Q's" Wrong tally is a
traditon. Another tradition was if you couldn't get your elbow on top of
the bar :"You didn't measure up" Tally Ho! Thom Collins

Badger
You don't know when you're on to a good thing, in Britain, ill treatment of
badgers is illegal, I bet over there, the first sight of black and white
stripes and you get blasted off the face of the earth.

Re: Tyre Recommendation Needed
Now Wait a Minute. As I have been on this list I have deduced that the median
age of this group is about 55 years old, given the average early onset of
arthritis no one is undoing Brassiere straps with either the left or right
hand, and at those on the upper end of the age scale are probably trying to
remember why they were undoing them in the first place. My apologies to any
young ladies on this list but once you let these old buzzards start wandering
down memory lane we will all be in trouble.
