I am relatively new to the group and have been enjoying driving one
of my TA's again this year after 25 years of gathering dust. This is
a 1938 TA rebuilt and used for trials in the 1970's with cycle wings
like the Musketeer works cars. I also have a 1939 TA Tickford that
still awaits total restoration.
Having sorted out a lot of the bits in the garage - mainly collected
20 to 30 years ago - I have come across the following manufacturer
plates that might relate to one or more of you.
TA 2264/MPJG 2522/Body B270 number 1092/8109
TA 2570/MPJG 2822/Body B269 number 242/4497
TA 0384/MPJG 1846
TB 0263/XPAG 558 - I believe this was off a TB Tickford that crashed
in the Welsh borders in the late 60's/early 70's.
If anyone has a vehicle that relates to these plates I could get them
sent to you. Bear in mind that I am in Worcester,England.
I would also like to try and trace another TA Tickford last known
around the Exeter area in Devon, England in the late 1960's. It had
registration number MG 6408 (or very similar) and was fitted with an
XPAG engine.
Great group with lots of information flowing around.
