I'm trying to research the history of the car, hence joining a site like the
T-ABC list! 1945 was the best guess from the guy who sold me the car, and
unfortunately the engine number is gone, and I haven't successfully located
the chassis number yet(v filthy etc.).

Hope you can add me in, and one day I'll have a pristine car to add to the
 photo gallery!

we own and have for 15 or 20 years TC 5022....dont have engine number handy
but it matches car....ie correct engine....car is red....about to be
repainted.....for some reason someone in the past had painted it
black....interior is red....have been trying to sort out proper color on
engine which is now the red color used and whether firewall (bulkhead) should
be the gray to grayish green or red....seems much confusion on this from what
books I have which must be everything you can buy on the T cars ....one thing
that makes me think it may have been gray green is that inside of battery
cover is gray green while rest is red and looks pretty much as it has never
been repainted. We bought the car out of St Louis around 1985 where a bank
had had it in storage for several years....the last time it had been titled
when we got it was 1971...it had been in dry storage and did not and does not
have a speck of rust in it and the tub wood is still solid as a rock....and I
have restored two TFs that were pretty rotted out. Also still have the two
 TFs

 ===and a question

If you're in a vehicle going the speed of light, what happens when you turn
 on the headlights?

			To all,
With all these threads about the speed of light, isn't there a
relationship between the speed of light and time? All I know is when I'm in
the TC driving down the road, I feel like it is my time machine. I can almost
feel time slow down to an enjoyable pace and feel like I'm back in a simpler
world.

And I don' feel like I have to drive 80+ to keep up with traffic. So what if everybody passes me. They all smile and wave. I still feel something in common with Snoopy, every time he fires up his Sopwith to do battle with the Red baron when I start the TC. The 67 Midget has a nice snarl and almost angry exhaust note, but the TC putters along, and low revs, and with classic vigor and higher RPMs. Well said below. PTH
