Photo of the Month
Walter,
I sure hope you get the story behind the Photo of the Month on the
TABC site. Maybe it should be titled "How to make sure your top end
gets lubed" or "How to store a TC without getting tire flat spots"
I'm sure badger or others could come up with better titles.

Photo of the Month
Looking at the TABC photo of the month makes me wonder if TaTerry's
SA engine was not powerful enough. Guess he pulled it and will power
it like the old toy cars. Feet on the ground. Should there be an
engine number stamped on his foerhead? Radiator was probably removed
to provide better cooling.

My guess though is that this photo was taken during the rebuilding
stage and is not current.

Photo of the month
Re: biplane i.d.:
The biplane in the photo of the month is a Navy N2S3 built in the Philadelphia shipyards during WWII. It was used as a Naval trainer along with the Stearman N3N3 ( a.k.a. the Yellow Peril ). I owned an N2S3 in the '80's. It differs from the Stearman in that it has a dual set of ailerons (top and bottom wings) instead of the single ailerons found on the Stearman, it has a 235 hp Wright Whirlwind radial engine instead of the 220 hp Lycoming found on the Stearman, and the left side of the fuselage was made up of removable aluminum panels attached to the metal airframe by Zeuss fasteners allowing easy removal for servicing. It was great fun. Kind of like riding a motorcycle in the sky!

Tom,
Just noticed that your cars are the featured Photo of the Month on the site. They look great in photos...hope I'm back up in your neighborhood some day to see them in person.

Re: Photo of the Month
Thanks, Gene. I think I'm bringing one of them to England from the US for MG Car Club Silverstone event and to see my great friends.
Anyone have invites - suggestions - ideas?

Photo of the Month
It's quiet on the board so I thought I'd call attention to the new Photo of the Month (I do have a vested interest in it, btw): http://www.mg-tabc.org/t-list-gall-photo.htm
