Congrats Steve I had never driven a TC until my 7 year restoration was done. Have fun! Joe Potter In a message dated 6/16/2001 4:26:33 PM Pacific Daylight Time, srankin@island.net writes:

TC8126 is due to be in your shoes my next year, first time six 1965, when I was in Kindergarten. After that, until I can afford to start another (like the proverbiable boat builder), I guess I'll order some wood scraps from Whitworth Shop and whittle on the front porch, just to smell the ash... Enjoy the ride- Mark McCombs Ohio

Steve, Congratulations, I hope to do the same by next year. I last drove TB#0398 in 1989 before I took it apart for restoration. My better half Crystal has been patiently waiting for a ride in it since we met eight years ago ! What a great evening you must be having ! Cheers, J.G.Bulcken IV

Steve, Congratulations. What a wonderful feeling it must be for you. As for what to do next, I can only suggest what most of the MG crazies I know do - and that's start another car. Our hobby of course can only truly be described as an illness which is why we need a group like TABC for support. Enjoy driving your car. After all that's what it's for. Doug TC5850

Congratulation Steve But being kind of new to the list and TCs I was wondering If any other TC. other than yours is runing ? It sounds like everone has one that is about done, there must be some that can move under there own power. P.S. mine will be ready in about a year to. Rolland Meismer TC.#3409---TD #5522

I would say more like an addiction, which is the real reason we need a support group. Bought mine in '66 (5 years before I got married) and will never sell it (don't think the kids, or their kids, will want it buried with me, though...) TCRoger TC0978 TC2365 PS have already bought the next one, off the road since '73
