They are not 2BA as 2BA is about a 10/32 US thread, I suspect they are around a 4 or 5 BA. Joe Curto

I vote for 3BA. The outside thread diameter of mine measure 0.158 inches. They're smaller than the 2BA bolt that I have but larger than the 4BA bolts that I measure at 0.140 inches outside thread diameter. Jack Stehr

Actually, I would like to know more about the BA threads used in TCs. It seems like practically every nut, bolt and screw less than 1/4 inch is a BA thread. Information on this standard is hard to come by, and the hardware is even harder to find. I could do without the flippant remarks, though. Regards, Charles Hill

British Association (BA) machine screws are numbered BA0 through BA22, and were used for the same sort of applications where we would use American number-sized machine screws.
