More importantly, Can anyone explain the difference between a firkin, a gherkin, a merkin, and a jerkin? Note: The difference between a firkin and a jerkin is not what you are thinking. Dictionaries are allowed. No prizes will be given.

Hi Terry. I spoke to Gerry again today at his home. He was doing pretty well and sounded very much like his old self but cancer is nasty stuff and he still has a long row to hoe before he's in the clear. Gerry is 76 years old but very resilient and strong as a bull so we'll just keep fingers crossed. Just in case anyone doesn't know, Gerry founded, owned, and operated Abingdon Spares for many years and has just undergone surgery for a malignant brain tumor. Once again, he would greatly appreciate a card to let him know folks are thinking of him at, GERARD GOGUEN RR-1 19 RESERVOIR AVE.
