Is there a preferred lubricant to keep polyurethane suspension shackle bushings from squeaking? Bob K

Is the question: Is there one polyurethane bushing grease that works better than the others? No, all polyurethane bushing grease works about the same. If you need some, might try a 4WD parts store. They sell a lot of polyurethane bushings, in various colors. At least they will understand what you are looking for. John Seim VintageMG.com

Badger, You can use MG B front suspension bushes, which require to be cut to length. I fitted them to my TC about 12 months ago. Mine were coloured red, but that didn't concern me. Alan Griffin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Sherwood, I replaced the bushes as the rubber ones fitted were looking a bit perished and I had some long distance driving ahead of me. I have a panhard rod fitted to the front ( as well as the back ) so any improvement would have been masked, but the fact remains, polyurethane is much more dense than the original rubber bushes, which must reduce any tendency for sideways movement. I also didn't notice any feel of harshness, compared to the old bushes. Alan Griffin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
