I need to replace the exhaust system on my 1936 TA with the original MPJG engine. Here in the states, Moss and Abington only list a stainless steel exhaust system for the TC. The Octagon Club in the UK lists a stainless steel exhaust system for the TA (same part number as the TB and TC), but the shipping was about 550 over the price of the exhaust system which by itself was quite reasonable. More than a bit too pricey for me. Does any one know if the exhaust system for the TC will fit or can be readily adapted to fit the TA ?

No. The TC exhaust will have a very different angle at the manifold
flange which will be very difficult to fit on a TA. I believe the
silencer and tailpipe sections are OK though.
I'm amazed at the shipping cost. Have you tried other UK sources such as
NTG or Brown and Gammons. Naylor Bros - Moss Europe list TA exhausts
(now owned again by Moss US I believe)
