Lest we think Barry Walker is the only "pretender" out there, I recently acquired TC0272 from a well known, supposedly knowledgeable and reputable individual with a family history at the MG factory - and he's actively involved as a member directing the NEMGTR. The TC "restored to original specifications, exceptional in every detail vehicle" to use the buyers words, is actually a poor cosmetic fix up of a tired car.
Moral of the story - don't buy on good faith, inspect things closely, and caveat emptor!
