Over the past months I have read several posts on Barry Walker. To his credit I must say my dealings with Barry had always been pleasant. I purchased many items from him starting in the early 1970's until about 1977 when I put my J2 restoration on hold. I admit this was a long time ago. Parts were as described and often sent on approval........just drop a check in the mail if I liked them. Once I asked about the possibility of obtaining an SU Pertolift fuel pump and another time about a Lucas vacuum operated windshield wiper motor, soon after nice examples of each unexpectedly appeared on my doorstep at a fair price. My comments on Barry Walker: I have bought many (if not the majority) of the parts for my TA from Barry and I've been very satisfied without exception. Some have indicated that Barry is expensive but I will tell you that many times over the past 6 years I've gone out with a 'request for quotation' for a long list of needed items from three suppliers (including Barry) and every time I have received responses where the bottom line is a 'wash'. On some items Barry is higher and on others he is lower. A plus is that he has found a few parts where I have struck out with other sources. I do appreciate that one can always, at some point, experience a not-so-pleasant experience with any supplier of goods or services no matter how well the relationship has been to that point. That's life! Art Tom Poole wrote:

NO AUTOGRAPHS PLEASE. Gee, with all this sudden fame, I may have to start wearing dark glasses whenever I appear in public. Tom Poole wrote:

Neither Republican nor Democrat is the Badger - but Libertarian. AJChalmers@aol.com wrote:

Should have known. Anyone want to take a stab at explaining what a Libertarian is to the rest of the world? My best description would be that the Libertarian Party is the Don Quixote of American politics. Regards, Charles Hill Independent

Neither Republican nor Democrat is the Badger - but Libertarian. Good for him, but I thought politics was verboten on the list! :) Bill Harkins Fallbrook, CA

Does anyone know if Barry Walker has an email address, and if so what it is. Cheers Dean [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
