Thanks for the response- you guys are great! 1 1/8" SAE or 5/8" Whitworth is correct except that the pulley I was removing (Judson Supercharger) has a bore size insufficient to allow entry of either. I ended up making a tool from an extra 7/8" socket by cutting 4 of the six flats out with an air powered cut off wheel. Worked like a charm. Now i know why the Judson instruction manual says to use the crank to install and tighten the pulley. I thought I'd pass this along to anyone else who may have the same problem.-Tom Poole TC 7563
