At the request of many, and the groans of a few (and you KNOW who you are), the Left Coast KLR Society and Eagle Machine, with the cooperation of the Multisurfacemotorcycling gang are bringing another Eldon Carl KLR set-up clinic on Saturday, June 26 at 0800. Actually, Eldon is still working on his beauty sleep so his part will start at 10-ish. Three lifts and one swing arm stand, so the first in gets their choice of work stations. We'll be working on any and all KLR stuff, so let me know if you need any special tools or supplies. Directions are simple: just set your GPS to 33 04 45 N/116 36 13 W and you'll be there in a flash. Otherwise get to Julian via SR 78 or SR 79, stop at the stop sign at the Town hall and proceed westerly to 2656 Farmer Rd. It's the big tin building next to the Fire Station. If you get lost in the sprawling downtown metropolis of Julian, go to the gas station at the east side of town, and Danny will tell you where to go. Eagle Mike and them Lefty's will once again be sponsoring a lunch time feed, so the last guy in buys the beer!!! Eagle Manufacturing will be debuting several new items as well as a major piece of KLR bling.......much stronger than the original, at half the weight. So pretty, you'll wear it outside.......I've got mine, wanna see it? from the enlightened KLR of Harry Seifert bseifert71@...

Well, well, well......The earth moved for me, how 'bout you. care for a cigarette????? Now they're (USGS) sayin' there was three quakes, almost simultaneous, off of Rosarito Beach (Baja) at 5.1, one somewhere in San Diego at 4.7 and one on Mojave by Edwards at ???? Boy oh boy. I understand Yuma (AZ) is prepping all kinds of "beach front" property for sale signs. The best part, I didn't feel it on my KLR...............riding out to the wells out at Volcan. and across a major fault, too!! from the enlightened KLR of Harry Seifert bseifert71@...

I have a KLR 650 and the other day the speedo cable broke....well the previous owner had broken the cover of the cable and taped it up which must have had something to do with it. The bike is a 2002 model KL650A model does the Tachometer work off the speedo cable? --------------------------------- ALL-NEW Yahoo! About $250, when you can find them. Cheaper on e-bay. MrMoose A8 (Barbie and Ken special)

I've bought them for $200. $250 with good bearings, a good rotor, and speedo gearbox is a good buy too. Devon hortonhearsawho@... wrote:

Day: Tuesday; Time: 3:30-ish; Place: Julian, CA; Who: Someone on a '98 or '99 with a Supertrapp and what appeared to be a JC Whitney box. Who is this mysterious rider? If I could have caught up with you, I would have bought you a cup of coffee.........oh well. Buddy Harry Seifert bseifert71@...
