extended clutch arm

Thanks Norm.  How would someone do that with the cast DRZ lever? It may be easier to do that or order...depends. Someone offers a service which extends the lever sent with return shipping.   For me it would be just as quick to modify/MIG as to package and ship.   Here's a photo: https://www.dropbox.com/s/52ub7n2l56ljxcd/clutch%20arm-L.jpg?dl=0   And a sketch of a longer lever:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/a7l90m29c1p7455/Extended%20clutch%20arm.jpg?dl=0

speedo cable is good but the speedo is kaput

Post by skypilot110 » Sun May 10, 2015 10:20 pm

Finaly got around to changing the speedo cable with one I picked up last month when my speedo stopped. When I got the old one off it looked fine and the new one didnt help. 17k on it. I dont think speedos go that fast so I am guessing the gear on the wheel. It has been under water once or twice :-) Any thoughts or has any body seen a failure mode other than cables that I should go to first? Skypilot,  A.K.A. Chris from  CT
