Thanks Fred,I don't expect to see many Bulldogs in Kane Creek.  Though trying it with a half dozen of them might make for a good Honda promo...Randy Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone -------- Original message --------From: "'Fred Hink' moabmc@... What's the metal brace for? I can get it to work with two bolts mounting it.

I just sold my 2003 KLR and the kid who bought it was too proud to have a 36 Liter GIVI Top case Mounted on it. His Dad insisted I take a little off so I'm offering it here to recoup. $75 plus shipping from 33523. I has the base plate, the adaptor for the KLR luggage rack, the bolts and even a backrest. Nice shape and still has both keys. Will hold a full face helmet and more tools than you can lift. These folks used to offer them but they still have photos on their site: http://www.rlmotorcycles.com/Givi-E36-p/givi%20e36nj.htm Michael

What's with this blurb on the Bulldog's specs?  "The Honda Bulldog sports a curious design, from its dual Ruckus-style headlights to its 15-inch wide scrambler tires." Them's some wide tires! LOL

and the real kicker is that there are no 15 , wide scrambler tires made.  There are a few 15 street type tires but nothing in the off road style.   Why do manufacturers use non standard parts for any reason on a new model?  It s like they are trying to reinvent the wheel all over again.   Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com   From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, March 21, 2015 9:24 AM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com ; husabob@... ya, kinda like putting the engine drain plug below the frame.  Surely no one in their right mind would ever do something like that...   Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com   From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, March 21, 2015 9:28 AM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com ; sniperone308@...
