At least one Mazda and some Toyotas belonging to friends. The fogged lenses and dirty/poor reflector surfaces have an amazing effect on light reduction in some lights while others which appear far more degraded seem less affected.           JW- I see you answered your own request-- but the FYI factor- I replaced badly hazed and pitted 'assembly' for my 98 Suburban through Autozone. @ about 1/2 price of OEM, and there was negligible difference in appearance. which would suggest, the AUTOZONE replacement was identical (IMO) except for the packaging. m1.
