Watched their Video. Looks like it should work well. Hmmm? I may have to make one like it to test. (mild changes) On Wednesday, January 21, 2015 9:38 PM, "michael stecyk michael.stecyk@... Perhaps others had better luck with this product.believe me we tried. Well this thing is now going to be retired without honors Well now I'm asking if anyone else had a similar experience? Looking at the Motion Pro bead pliers .any thoughts? mike Montreal Canada

Have a friend who has used a C-clamp. I've never tried it cause I have another friend who has a tire changer in his garage (It's great to have a friend with a tire changer). John in N.C.

Hi MikeAre the K60's tubeless? I need a new set of skins and have been eye balling the inter web and can only find tubeless. This may explain the stubborn side wall.

I been having this one like forever. Carried with me all over the place on my KLR and it's broke many beads on many bikes. A bit heavy though.

You might look at the one from Best Rest Products. Looks like it has decent leverage and packs pretty small.
Thankfully I haven't had an issue with any of the K 60 tires I've run.Randy

I use, Viberg Bead breaker, errrrrr, The Heal of my Viberg Boot. LOL
Ya sometimes it takes 3-5 HOPS, but it gets done.
But I have thought of making a clamp type, like listed above, But,.... with a few mods, to make it easier. (Garage size)

Looks like it has decent leverage and packs pretty small. Thankfully I haven't had an issue with any of the K 60 tires I've run.Randy Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone -------- Original message --------From: "michael stecyk michael.stecyk@... I have the tubeless that I'm running with tubes. Its been a great tire .My problem being in an remote area emergency its difficult to break the beak .It hasn't happened as of yet but since my failed test of the Tyrepliers (TM) I'm looking for other method.I m going to try the Motion Pro pliers combo.watched the u tube videos on it.There lightweight and will be able to break a tough sidewall bead.I hope. cold here in Montreal. At least 2months before can ride. This may explain the stubborn side wall. SK Sent from my iPhone On Jan 21, 2015, at 7:52 PM, "michael stecyk michael.stecyk@... I watched that video as well.that's why I was convinced it was a good product.not so any more.I got it for on road emergency.lucky I didn't have one.those k60 tires are fantastic.I did the Trans Labrador highway with the beakbreaker.it s very lonely out on that road.thank god I don't need to use it. Perhaps others had better luck with this product.believe me we tried. Well this thing is now going to be retired without honors Well now I'm asking if anyone else had a similar experience? tyrepliers
Hi Mike
I found the klr rear tire one of the worst I've had the "pleasure" of breaking down. I can't remember what rear tire was on it when I bought it, but I've changed it and three Kendas. The first had a really stiff sidewall and was the worst but the Kendas weren't much better.
After seeing a test of a Motion Pro Heavy Duty BeadPro FS, it looked like it should work so I bought one a while later when I saw it on sale.
I've only changed one tire with it so far, the rear a Michelin Pilot Road 3 on my weeStrom it broke it down with no problems. It is a bit. In the large size, 17" I believe but there is a slightly smaller version that is perhaps more suited to carry on the bike.
