So if society told you that you they felt you are being inconsiderate and irresponsible by riding a motorcycle, because you are far more likely to be seriously injured or killed in a crash and if you didn't ride, that wouldn't happen and it leaves resources available to those who really need them...Would you do the right thing for the masses and stop riding? Really, it would be the right thing to do, considering your comment about doing what everyone else thinks is right. Don't want to be sanctioned, are you one of those Green Peace people? " Respectfully I must disagree with you. When your behavior impacts others in a negative fashion, then 'civilised' behavior would suggest that you modify that behavior BEFORE you end up "sanctioned" in one way or another. ...And I understand that there is mounting pressure AGAINST motorcycles IN GENERAL, because of some actions IN PARTICULAR, and particularly this is because of the "loud-pipes- save-lives" falsehood. My mindset is to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem. My .02$. Ed [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Guns should have mufflers too.... That way they don't hear me when I pop one of those endangered PITA critters that get water shout off to farmers.... ________________________________ From: Rick McCauley To: dsn_klr650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Fri, November 6, 2009 1:04:56 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Re: NKLR This is America. It is my gun. If i want to shoot it in town it's nobody's business but my own.!! I think your logic is grossly flawed there Stu. Loud pipes are illegal. Just because it is your bike doesn't mean you can break the law with it. And no, I didn't vote for the Black Muslim And I don't think it was right for you to call us commies Rick A17 ____________ _________ _________ __ From: SM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogro ups.com Sent: Fri, November 6, 2009 9:00:45 AM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Re: NKLR I don't see what all the hoo haa is about loud pipes, this is America and if I want my bike to be loud it's nobody's business but mine. Yes there is companionship in Death Valley, I just hope it isn't the ewe I'm seeing, that whore. That's why I like the loud pipe, it scares that big ram away so I can have my way with ewe and anyone/thing else I want. ----- Original Message ---- From: Mike Frey To: List KLR DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Fri, November 6, 2009 2:18:55 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Re: NKLR Stu's trolling and it's working. Don't succumb to that. That said, I'll nibble at the hook: If anyone spots a QUIET green 06 KLR with Pennsylvania tags in Death Valley this weekend, it's a near certainty that it's me. If some dipwad comes through Titus Canyon or Saline Valley on a loud pipes bike, they'll get the ADVrider salute from me. It's mating season for the Bighorns and you'll scare 'em. Worse still, you could interrupt my tryst with that cute ewe that I stole away from the Great Horned Beast of a Ram back down Wildrose way. Baa-aa-aaa-aack off, she's mine. Rick McCauley wrote:
