I apologize for my misunderstanding of the "rules".
I actually thought it was okay to submit non-KLR related posts under
the "NKLR" designation.
Silly me.

Monte,
It's perfectly alright to submit NKLR posts as often as you want but you must agree with my position to do so. SIC

This list must have an NKLR eruption once in awhile to cleanse it of
excessive doohickey syndrome.

Silly, everybody knows that. It's Remington RemOil with Teflon. Don't believe the people who say that WD-40 is a perfectly good light machine oil for lubricating a fine handgun. Sure, the main ingredients are Stoddard solvent and light machine oil, just what you'd want to clean and lubricate the bore of a fine weapon, but ... . These are probably the same heretics who believe WD-40 is useful for cleaning and lubricating O-ring type chains. Why would companies put out chain oils or gun oils if there wasn't a real need for these specialty oils? Clearly anybody who would put WD-40 on a chain, or on a cleaning patch running down the bore of a gun, is a... a... commie poopy-head! Yeah! Oh, and don't forget to adjust the timing belt on your 1911 after you clean it. If the timing belt goes bad, you could have the gun seize up while going at high speed down the highway and send valves flying out of the chamber head. Horror! _E> Hey all, what is the best GUN OIL?

Indeed, that's one of the things > we try to drill into them, that the treatment they receive in life > depends on what they do. We don't succeed very often. Hi Eric, Nice post, of which I snipped most.... As far as criminals being stupid, I would prefer to think of most of them as selfish, not stupid. White collar, blue collar crime, it all stems from being greedy and selfish. Of course, there are some exceptions. (From interviews inside the US Disciplinary Barracks, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.) Yes, I have heard the 'whoosh' sound--mostly on pre- criminal's, at least, pre-convicted crimianls.... Thanks for your (often thankless) work with their treatment and rehabilitation. 10% success is still success. Any person whose life is changed, and made better, makes the effort worth while. revmaaatin. yes, I know, 10% is being generous...
