We were busy touring California like a pair of independently wealthy
playboys: Staying in campsites, eating Top Ramen, looking like
homeless guys that dove into a trashcan full of dust, and riding
motorcycles that cost 1/5 of an average Harley.
He should have got back to Pasadena yesterday afternoon. I last saw
him riding off into the distance about 80 miiles south of Reno, I
pulled over to take a nap, he kept going.
I will post a ride report in the near future...
Cheers
CA Stu

I heard the proprietor was on the road, touring the Sierras on his
KLR for the last week. If Stu survived, Chris should have too, and
I'm sure he'll be along shortly with your mc parts.
I had to miss the tour on account of work...

Last sat nite a friend and i pulled an all niter lol we rode our bikes to a land locked 5500 acre water works owned lake. Some time after midnite my friend caught a yellow perch ( btw yellow perch are not native to alabama) this fish was 14 inches long but we could not find anywhere to weight it so he wrapped it in plastic and news paper and put it in the freezer.I looked on puter and found out our state record is only 1lb15 oz any one know if a 14 inch yelow perch might be a record here in central alabama the record came from the tennessee river i guess by way of tenn tombiggibee waterway but in a creek fed lake 75 miles from tennessee river who knows?? eddie self 2002 klr 3800 miles

Jeez, I heard they get big over there but ..........! Me and a friend used to do a lot of canoe / beer drinking / fishing here in TX on the Brazos River. Contrary to popular myths, everything isn't bigger in TX. The perch we caught were never ever over about 5 inches in length. They are great eating but don't eat that one.

Anyone else getting bounced off the list? For some darn reason Yahoo is
looking like it's a mail relay at times to my mail server.
Crappy Yahoo.

What amazes me the most, is there are three distinct groups of people
who post on the list. There are a select few who almost never seem to
get sucked into the NKLR Political crap. There are those who
occasionally do, and then there are those that seem to NEVER post
ANYTHING that IS KLR related.
I've figured out a solution, for those of us who use Digest mode. We
need to have a filter installed, so it's possible to subscribe to a
NKLR digest, that will simply weed out all the CRAP that is being
posted as of late.
I wonder if Yahoo can do this? Anyone know if the list admin can put a
filter and make an NKLR-Free Digest?

You forgot the fourth: Lurkers who only come out of the woodwork to
protest that the latter two groups are ruining their(!) list.

Nope..Digest mode is produced and delivered by Yahoo with no way to
alter it.
