We need a new term for, those SMUG, RUDE, NARCISSISTIC, riders that choose a Harley. I believe, any true Rider, regardless if a Harley or BMW, Shares the LOVE of it all and RESPECTS ALL OTHER RIDERS. The ones that don't pick a bike to ride, BUTT pick a Brand to try and stand out as "better" then others. (Be it a Motorcycle, clothing, coffee, etc etc etc etc. SINAIR? Heck, I have over 100K miles on BMW's Over 100K miles with the two bikes in my garage. They know that and respect that as I do their choices. LOL! Every once in awhile, I'll even do a Poker Run with them on my KLR . I agree with Ron. I've done the Harley and club thing in my early years. Most of my m/c friends are on crusiers. I don't care if you're on a scooter, 3 wheeler or ??? I'm gonna wave at you if I see you. All of the riders that knows me knows I'm not gonna be on a crusier and always ask how my KLR or Bandit is doing. And, they know that lots of my rides are on roads they don't prefer to ride their 15 to 30 thousand dollar bikes on even if they had the skill to do it.
Harley's Love them. Not Waving? I at times am looking the wrong way, or just lost in thought, OR HAND ON CLUTCH. LOL The Topic many relate to "Harley" riders, MORE relates to SNOBS, and too many ride a Harley. I've had people on BMW's Make SNIDE remarks about, "How clean my bike is" And they had to be at least 200 ft away. Clean? It had been on the road for 1,400+ miles, and not even been rained on, YET. The old saying is, "ASS HOLES, EVERY BODY HAS 1" Well, so does every sport, Hobby, group, (every sort, Politics, religions, "non" profit's, every group. Bikers just happen to be a rare group, that Acknowledges each other, even when doing 80+ down the freeway. SO HAS MORE WHEEL'S, Like a Semi-truck, So has a better odd's of having one that SQUEAKS.
