one way to spice up the ride

Post by ron criswell » Sun Sep 07, 2014 10:41 pm

We used to take a short cut on the train track bridge going over hwy 360 in DFW. Not a wise thing to do but we did. Good idea to know when trains came through. Criswell Sent from my iPad

In Louisiana we came upon a four wheeler (what was left of it) that's owner was using the track to make better time and to go over the swamp.  The family sued the railroad for killing their son.  They lost, but it actually went to court.  Not smart.  In the US most of the tracks are switched from a dispatching center.  Most of the BNSF is in Fort Worth, TX.  Most of the UP is in Omaha, NE and Spring, TX.  They can not see you.  It takes an average freight train going 50 mph about 1.5 miles to stop.  Please stay off the tracks. idle problem

Post by snowcrash007 » Mon Sep 08, 2014 8:01 pm

Bike pulls and runs fine but I am having and idle issue. Idle being 1300 will be fine one time and then low the next, next is fine etc.  Seems to work great one day and then low the next.  It never idles higher. The bike pulls hard and runs well with 400km before reserve. I checked the valves in the spring and they were in the middle of the spec. Air filter cleaned. Seafoam run for two tanks. WD 40 sprayed on intake boot makes no change. It is strange, like the RPM when they drop to idle seem good, then later its low, next day its fine. Any ideas? Crash
