phillips/hex head or rounded bolt head (simple last resort no welder

Post by mark ward » Sun Jul 27, 2014 3:06 pm

When I did service on food equipment, (WET areas) the panles had very small headed phillips screws.
DREMEL!!!! EVRYONE NEEDEDS ONE. (or 2 lol)
When needed AFTER I TAPPED the head to loosen a bit I would use a Dremel tool with the metal cutting disc, and cut a slot into it and then use a flat head screw driver.
(Size of slot depended on how big the item was and what screw driver.)

Would one of the moderators care to try and replace the mountain biker on the Yahoo Home Page with one of us? Michael Sent from my iPad

I didn t see that option with this new format until now.  Guess it is time to have another photo contest and see if we can come up with a good cover photo for our web page.  I d like to see a group of KLRs with a great view or scenic backdrop.  Don t necessarily need a bunch of riders cluttering up the view but a few well placed bikes in front of a grand view would be nice.  If you want to post your submissions to our Photo Section, once we get a good number, we ll have a vote to see what is your most favorite.    Post your Cover Photo Submissions HERE: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/DSN_KLR650/photos/albums/1897490461   Fred List Admin.       From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 5:23 AM To: dsn_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Cover Photo     Would one of the moderators care to try and replace the mountain biker on the Yahoo Home Page with one of us? Here is my submission for the photo contest: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/DSN_KLR650/photos/albums/1897490461/lightbox/1435494876 I like this photo for its unusual (vertical ) composition. It also highlights Farkle by Fred and one of my favorite places to ride the KLR: Moab s Onion Creek Trail. I have introduced many riders to this this amazing trail, many have commented that riding it was their best day ever on a dual sport bike. It is one of my favorite Moab area rides, especially on a hot day when the many creek crossings provide respite from the heat.
