Air filter is brand new and clean, and all fuel lines are brand new.

When the bike stops and i crack the screw on the bottom of the carb lots of fuel pours out so I would think that means there is enough fuel in the float bowl.

I might see if I can find a cheap coil somewhere close by, and I live in San Diego.

Brenton I don't believe your problem is Carb related, as I had an 08 and it did something really similar and I believe it is WIRING. Yes, Kawasaki did the recall for the wiring on mine too, BUT. I ended up with a Short to ground in the starting circuit from a rub on a sharp edge up above the triple tree under the instrument cluster and a wire almost broke through in that Harness on the right side that gets pinched under the tank. I had to take that loom apart and repair it. It did the sputtering/stalling/hard starting and farting crap and drove me insane. Valve clearance check won't catch this. It's inside the head where carbon built up in the comb chamber. We found it when we gave up and sent it to a dealer who pulled the head. Don't know what caused it and it never repeated. Brenton and I have talked about this for quite a while.  The bike will restart if full choke is used.  It just won t idle after about 10 minutes of operation.That doesn t appear electrical to me.  Sounds more like the ineffectiveness of the new EPA approved carb cleaners.At least he has the wealth of info from the List to peruse. Buddy

My suspect list still points back at the carb: Starts with choke, starts when cold, stops running after 10 minutes. Sounds like fuel starvation when engine gets warm. I had the same symptoms on my 250 Super Sherpa. Carb off twice, jets clean, everything looked good. Started fine, ran fine for a few minutes, then didn't. I took my float valve off and looked at it under high magnification. Tiny bit of dirt build up on it was causing it to stick "closed". Got that cleaned and the problem went away. I ended up with a Short to ground in the starting circuit from a rub on a sharp edge up above the triple tree under the instrument cluster and a wire almost broke through in that Harness on the right side that gets pinched under the tank. I had to take that loom apart and repair it. It did the sputtering/stalling/hard starting and farting crap and drove me insane.
