  I certainly agree with a short trailer is harder to back up.  It reacts too quickly for me.  I am using a former boat trailer which I slid the tounge back a couple of feet and drilled new holes.  Its about 12ft long now and handles well.  [b]From:[/b] "Michael Burwell michaelburwell@... For a 14' boat you probably have a short enough trailer that it wouldn't be a big deal, and a LOT easier to back around than a shorty MC trailer. Also, extra leverage with the tongue. You will have to move the bike forward of the wheels for balance, you want some tongue weight.
