looking for new tire advice

Post by jpod@sbcglobal.net » Wed May 07, 2014 9:50 pm

Greetings, My '09 needs new tires, and looking for a reasonably priced 80/20 Pavement/Off-Road tire recommendation? It doesn't have to be cheap, but I don't want to spend $300 either...just a good value for the money for this type of riding.  What would you do? Thanks! John

JP-Is that 20% going to be rock, gravel, sand, or mud gravel roads or prairie gumbo-zo? Some tires are a lot better for some of the above. revmaaatin.

Great point. It'll be likely be mostly gravel, rock and some dirt. Thanks, John
