This really should be NKLR, right?   Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com   From: stephennrth@... From the tone of your post it was obvious anyway. (Arrogance does not become you by the way) I never claimed to be an expert on climate change and as a matter of fact I specifically said so. I do have a science background but nothing extra ordinary in that regard. I am however curious, coupled with what I hope is a healthy dose of common sense. I have looked at the data myself (which is not rocket science) and have made up my own mind which I strongly suggest everyone else do as well. If you make all your conclusions based on what you read in the NYT you will NOT learn the truth. (There is a great article in this months Popular Mechanics by Sarah Fecht titled Junk Science: flawed studies, agenda driven research, and open door journals are putting the public at risk.) As for your "challenge" to debunk your notated (overwhelming!) peer reviewed studies I would only reiterate what I have already stated and to simply add that 50 people in a room calling a cat a dog does not make it a dog. I'm not trying to change your mind. As a matter of fact, if you feel so strongly that man is ruining the planet, I welcome you to destroy all your carbon emitting machines. Start walking. Yes! Note than many of us are using mailbox filters to toss NKLR mail into the bit bucket. Those filters don't work if listers don't use the *exact* "NKLR" string in the subject line.  " not KLR" and "Bulk" don't have the same  effect since our filters just look for"NKLR". From: moabmc@... Apology not excepted, it was TOOOO PAIN FULL, BUT, maybe after you buy me a beer or two, next time I'm in the area. (Ice-cream would help ease the pain, also.....2 scoops.)

Oooh, that starts to throw down the gauntlet.  We do after all have 27 microbreweries in Central Oregon alone.  Bend, OR the highest per capita of any city in the nation.  Maybe the state loses out by having people concentrations in the Valley, but I'm not so sure.   What do you say we start a My Beer's better than Your Beer thread?  That'll change the climate.   Todd (Still searching the perfect Stout)     Well, we do have Ben and Jerry's and the most micro brews per capita of any state! OK, your on........   found this online and as we all know, the Internet never lies.... Bend is a "Beervana", with one brewery for every 9,111 people and more breweries per capita than any other city in the state of Oregon.   Moab UT has two breweries with a full time population of around 5000 fine folk.  That s the good news, the bad news is that it is Utah beer.  We also have two wineries as well.  So if you want to get blitzed, Moab is the place.   Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com   From: zootpatutie@... According to the Brewers Association: Top five states in per capita breweries are 1) Vermont 2) Oregon 3) Montana 4) Alaska 5) Colorado Alaska jumped Colorado to #4 with the addition of two breweries in 2012. Does Oregon have a vibrant hard cider industry? Ours is exploding here! Stitches Afloat LLC 4580 Harbor Road Shelburne Vermont 05482 802-985-9547 www.stitchesafloat.com stitchesafloat@...

Hard Cider's just getting rolling.  Have at least one in Bend, could be others as I'm still crawling through the brewers.   From: stephennrth@...
