When my friend's shop closed last year, he was going to throw out a plastic bucket full of various m/c parts. I bagged them up and just now got around to digging through it all. (Lots of o-rings, weird crank bearing sets and only-fits-XXXX parts.) Among the parts I have is a Gen-u-ine Kawasaki temperature sending unit, part #92066-1183 "Plug, water sensor". Double check me. But, it appears to fit a crapload of Kawasaki engines, including our KLR. It's the sensor that screws into the head near the spark plug. But, since this list has been a wealth of information both during and after my KLR ownership: If someone needs this part, the 1st one to email me off list with their address will get it. Hi All, Last week I inadvertently dropped the bike when stopped which resulted in a broken choke lever. I have since fixed it with an aluminium plate and cable ties. My question is - has anyone got a spare that they would like to part out, maybe someone has replaced it with the modified one. It's for a 2002 model not the later model that has a different lever. The part no is 46092-1123. I have checked Ebay and elsewhere but the postage costs from USA are prohibitive (read ridiculous) from all the normal suppliers. Cheers Glenn (Australia)
