It is actually the 'green-house' effect. The man/woman owning the local 'green house' called down a cold snap so they could sell more trees. Remember,The rain falls on the just and the unjust equally. Honest, I do feel your pain; It is still snowing here and I can't tell you how many sets of wiper blades I replaced this winter season on 4 vehicles; at least 4 per vehicle. I am ready for Spring as soon as it can arrive. Experienced something similar while living in Sicily; the town of Hyeres, FR, where we did a lot of ship support lost nearly all of its Royal Palms ( a kind of city legend) due to a freak snow and cold snap. The folks were just sick. m. Sent from my iPadAfter another pointless debate with some true believers in global warming, I went in my backyard and surveyed my nine palm trees. Six of the nine look like this (dead) from our cold temps this winter. The one behind the Sega palm was given to me by a friend probably 14 years ago. I don't think it survived this winter. Depressed, I went and started my Suburban with 278,000 miles on the clock, my GMC truck, my '93 Miata, my wife's car, my smokey old dirt bike, my KLR, my other 2 motorcycles, my generator, lawn mower, weed eater, leaf blower, pressure washer, started a fire in my Chimenyia, got the gas grill going to get some carbon footprint going to warm things up. I am sure come August I will re-evaluate this decision.
