And you can add armor to any clothing by buying just the armor:

...
Think about it: mountain gear is designed to keep you warm and dry when the
wind is howling, snow or sleet is coming down, day after day. It's way better
than most of the motorcycle clothes I've looked at, except for the lack of
crash pads.

Please don't start that one again. Remember there is an assophobe out
there some where, and we should not get him going.

I feel lucky when anyone agrees with my opinions and the gear I wear was reviewed this month in Motorcycle Consumer News. MCN gave the FirstGear Kilimanjaro jacket a Best Value award. You can read the review of this jacket here.... http://www.motorcycleconsumernews-digitalmagazine.com/mcnews/march_2014d/?pg=25#pg25 This is the season to get out your old gear and dust it off. If you are like me you keep gear until daylight shows through it, it might be a good time to do some upgrades to your riding apparel and you surely can t go wrong with the FirstGear Kilimanjaro jacket. I have had mine for at least 15 years and still love it. My riding jacket before that was a Barbour jacket so that shows you how long I like to keep good gear around. Fred
