Where is the best place to order/buy riding gear that is good but reasonable? I just bought the bike and do not want to spend the same amount on clothing.

Ummm, your local dirt bike store? I always prefer to actually handle and try on clothes I'm considering buying. Ad copy and glossy photos don't tell you the real deal. -- Blake Sobiloff http://sobiloff.typepad.com/> San Jose, CA (USA)

I agree, but I looked all over a couple of cities for suitable suit (Fieldsheer Highland--try to find one) or jacket/pants combo, and the size/selection/availability limitations finally drove me to purchase the jacket and overpants from two different internet vendors. Maybe not a perfect solution, but I was tired of looking, the two garments were very highly recommended in numerous posts and both vendors (motorcyclecloseouts.com for the now-hard-to-find FG Kili II jacket, and newenough.com for the FG HT overpants) delivered smartly. Special props to New Enough; I initially ordered a 40 pant and when I decided to exchange they immediately sent out the 38 for only the cost of freight so I was able to try them both together and compare. Wow! 40 went back yesterday and I rode in the new duds this morning for the first time. I wanted to buy locally and tried to, but, hey... Stephen --- Blake Sobiloff wrote:

Stephen, Sounds like you may have found what you want... ... but!! I did learn that Klimijaro II is now the IIII and I know you can get it through Ed at Happy Trails 800-444-8770. -Andy BIFBR Andyt59@... http://myweb.cableone.net/tbernard -----Original Message----- From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Stephen Grisanti Sent: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 4:01 PM To: Blake Sobiloff Cc: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Riding Gear I agree, but I looked all over a couple of cities for suitable suit (Fieldsheer Highland--try to find one) or jacket/pants combo, and the size/selection/availability limitations finally drove me to purchase the jacket and overpants from two different internet vendors. NewEnough if they have what you want. Fantastic customer service. If you want a dirtier selection, bobscycle.com has pretty good prices and usually free shipping. I'm in favor of supporting good shops--but I haven't found one worth my money. Every shop I've been to in this city is full of morons and over priced dress up crao for lame ass jewelry bikes. -Luke --- freddyp672003 wrote:

New Enough has been good for me when I got my Joe Rocket gear. I put up with the inability to try it on first, due to being somewhat remote from a decent shop. I got my Ballistic 5 pants at the end of the 05 riding season, they were great for the little time I was able use them. Another month, I hope to be on the road.
