vendor friday stove (fuel??? & reclaim)

Post by mark ward » Fri Jul 26, 2013 7:25 am

Hey Mark The instructions say, Use Methanol Or Ethanol. (or waist, ever-clear, to cook. LOL ) Thaught's on the othe fuels list for stoves (like MSR whisperlite Etc.) meant to vaporize the fuel, MSR "Superfuel, white gas, colman etc. Reclaim? From the looks, it would take a large funnel, (or bag) and just pour it threw the burner holes?? (PS. Do you know what a hair lip dog sounds like? BURP! After he rips into some-one that insults his name.)

LOL, my set up is probably different than his and I wanted mine to work right. ;-) Sooner or later. No diodes in my system as I'm using separate leds in the top panel for indicator lights. Andy , in South LA pondering on the next mod for my '00 KLR with just 33520 miles on it as of yesterday. Sigh! Rode the 67,770 mile '07 Bandit today for the 1st time since the crash.

Except when the bike was hot after a good run on a hot day. When engaging the signal lites, the lite would just stay on and flicker. After it would cool off, all working normal. > > A few days ago, when I had about 220 on the tank of gas, still having to baby that left shoulder a bit ) I pulled it off and relocated the flasher module to the gooseneck area and tie wrapped it to the brake line coming up there. > > 100 miles later , running in 100 degree weather or in town with the fan running, it's all good.
