Has anyone figured a way to upgrade the KLR's turn signal to a "press
in to cancel". I know I'm a klutz because I usually transition back
& forth a couple on times whenever I attempt to cancel my turn
signal. A "press in to cancel" turn signal switch would be a step
right up into the 90s type of revision.

To be honest, things are crazy and I just haven't had time to check it out, but Fred, Arrowhead Motorsports http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/index.html has some kind of new KLR assembly. I don't know if it does the cancelling or not, but would be worth checking in to. Probably under New Products... Does this device allow you to switch the unused (in the USA) "city light" circuit? I do like the ability to switch off the headlight for trail riding.

Paul,
The switch functions:
3 position Headlamp:
Headlamp/tail light/Dash ON
Headlamp OFF/tail light/Dash ON
Headlamp OFF/tail light/Dash OFF
Stop and turn signals still work when all of the above are off.
Horn
Push-to-cancel turn signals
Passing (headlamp) flasher
