train horn
The problem you run into with "real" train/bus/semi-truck horns, is that
they're all air powered. They also use a LOT more air than those
trumpets that come with their own compressor. I know, I've tried them
all. I had an aux air tank on my Land Rover that I also powered the dual
bus horn with, and IT-WAS-AWESOME! Stupid loud.
In any event, if you want an air horn, your best bet is the cheezier
kind that come with their own compressor. I have one that I've been
toying with putting on my KLR. I wanted to use the real ones that I
still have, but carrying an air tank is not going to happen.
With that said, Cadillacs have REALLY loud horns. Maybe the best sound
for the money, and easy to hook up. There's some 4 notes available. and
I believe there are even ones that have 3 notes in a single horn. Used
from the 60's into the 80's. This would be ideal for a bike, since
they're small and easy to mount. They'd be crazy loud for a motorcycle.
