Has anyone put a Mikuni Carb on their klr650. If so what are the results.Improvements and dislikes. How did it affect your gas milage on the road? Thanks for any help. TC [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

What Mikuni? I think they have different kinds. Flat slid? A friend wanted a Mikuni (type ????) for his Honda XR400. His mechanic told him it eats more gas and should be for all out racing not trail riding. somthing like the mikuni has an accelerator pump that sqirts fuel into the motor when the throttle is opened. low end power suffers also. I dont know if any of this is true.

I live on the upper west side of Manhattan, and see this bike parked on my street. Is the owner a member of this group, by any chance? I'd love to know how you achieved this look. Thanks, JT [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
