stuck/unstuck

Today, I went to the place where I bought my Tenere 1200 and browsed through the accessory catalog they had on the parts counter. There were the usual seats, windscreens, covers, bags, etc... It was the Warn winch that caught my eye, however. Yep. Yamaha sells an accessory winch and mounting plate for a motorcycle. At nearly 600 pounds, I wouldn't want to try and push a Super Tenere out of a stuck spot. Then again, I probably wouldn't take it that far into no man's land, either. But, a 1500# winch designed for use off a m/c battery might make one heck of a KLR farkle! =) -eddie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

If the winch is small and light enough to carry in a pannier, I could imagine designing a way to have multiple mount/attachment points around the Super Tenere' . not so much to tug the bike out of the deep mud or sand (where you've said you wouldn't take it), but rather to hook to a nearby tree and pull the bike back up when it falls over...LOL Randy From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of eddie Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2013 9:01 PM To: KLR650 list Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Stuck/unstuck Today, I went to the place where I bought my Tenere 1200 and browsed through the accessory catalog they had on the parts counter. Still takes up alot of space. (OLD item new mounting plate etc.) Multi use. I carry a few roap items for camping, Extra strapping for unexpected items picked up etc. ALSO; I have had to many times I wanted to climb down a STEEP AND/OR MUDDY, River embankment to fish, hike, camp, etc. Or some areas of LARGE BOULDERS 5ft-20ft. for Pictures or explore, But did NOT, becuase I knew, I would have trouble getting back up, espeacialy carring gear. So I figure Upgrade my roap a bit and carry a few "Climbing tool's (Asende & Belay & better Carininers) for the climb and desent. With ALREADY having all that, (hand full of tools) By adding a couple of good pullies, I can Also pull the bike if needed. So all that is "extra" to get UNSTUCK etc. is 2 pullies. PS. The Asender, will GREATLY help with grip on the roap for pulling ANYTHING.

I've also received the one with the FEDEX logo and it says "We couldn't deliver a package". so click this link to print the receipt out to claim it. Well Fedex doesn't do this and the cc: to fancypants at zxzx.net.ru clued me in. anything that s .ru or .hu and any other weird ones you have to watch out for . also ive seen the one where it says "your order was processed" and click the link to view the invoice. and practically the same email except It says "your membership application has been processed" you can't just click everything in your inbox, even with the best anti-virus software available. also stay off facebook and twitter and similar sites. put them in your forbidden sites list. -- charlie -----Original Message----- From: Ed
